The history of makeup removal
Since ancient times , women have had their own makeup removal rituals. Egyptian women used oils and ointments to dissolve kohl and nourish their skin, while Roman women used moistened linen cloths or mixtures of ash and clay. All over the world, this care gesture was carried out with simple, natural and reusable materials .
It was only with the rise of modern industry that disposable cotton pads appeared, becoming in just a few decades a must-have... but also a daily source of waste . When traveling, this absurdity hit us even harder: throwing away single-use cotton pads every evening for a simple beauty routine.
From this reflection was born our desire to return to the essentials , to reconnect with the common sense of old gestures : using a washable, soft and durable fabric . Our makeup remover discs in mottled fabrics , lined with a soft bamboo fiber , are part of this continuity. Each piece is unique , tells a textile story gleaned during our travels , and transforms the beauty routine into a conscious, poetic and planet-friendly ritual .

Artisanal know-how
Behind each makeup remover pad, there are precise and passionate gestures. Fanny carefully selects and assembles each vintage fabric before lining them with a soft bamboo fiber. Each piece thus becomes unique, carrying history and know-how.
